Latest : Pretty Lady without explanation was closed for many months. This for a bar at one of the best locations on Nana Plaza. Any way, the bar has reopened now. Initially there were only about 10 girls working, but lately the number has increased to around 30. Amazingly, these girls were also there before the bar closed, which suggest there is real loyalty at work here. Pretty Lady had quite a few reincarnations over the years, and was always among our most popular bars. It's only after the bar closed that we became a bit addicted to Angel Witch bar.

Pretty Lady is located left in the middle of Nana Plaza ground floor. Under different names this bar was hightly successful in the past.
It is a middle sized bar with two dancing stages. One on the left when you enter, features the more modest or new girls, while the central stage houses the more raunchy ones. The girls here are way more provocative than average.

A mirror covers the counter around the dancing stage. Most of the girls dancing wear a loose skirt with nothing underneath. So quite a few guys spend their time not looking up at the girls at all, just gazing at the mirror below. You can easily see differences between the girls. Some are somewhat modest, and will go dancing in the central portion of the stage, with minor body movements, so they keep things private. Other girls hardly care, and use the setup to show their wares.

Pretty Lady did not change a lot over the last 10-15 years. Walking in there throws you back in time. Originally most bars in Bangkok had a similar appearance, that is a bit dark, and a bit shabby. Nowadays, most bars have been upgraded with 'proper' lighting, sound system, and fancy environment. However, in the process something got lost.

While beers used to be priced lower in this bar, just recently prices were increased. A beer or whisky can now be had for 120 baht. Bar fine is also pretty standard now at 600 baht. While prices have gone up (the bar was very competitive before), they are lower than at most other bars around Nana Plaza.

Contrary to all the other bars at Nana Plaza (as far as I know) this bar does not feature service girls, but has a basically all male staff serving the drinks. I do not know the exact reasoning behind this, not exactly interesting company to fool around with.

A minor for the bar, is its lavatory, which is in bad need of an upgrade. Also the music tends to be somewhat too loud, but selection of music is good.
